WVOC Campus

Thoreau students that attend the West Valley Occupational Center campus are SDC students that are between the ages of 18-21 years old. Thoreau's SDC class has a history of being successful with students obtaining their credits and diplomas. Last school year, the program started with 5 students and graduated 9. This was possible because as the school year progressed more students joined our program. A total of 19 students were serviced by our classroom at West Valley Occupational center for the 2016-2017 school year. Our SDC class is taught by a wonderful teacher with many years of experience and a very knowledgeable Special education Assistant who has helped students move forward. We look forward to working with our returning students and we welcome new students that are serious about getting their high school diploma.
